Logline

Set in 1950s Bronzeville, IL, Louise Parker faces eviction, the loss of a job, and family instability. Desperate to keep her hard-earned independent life, she accepts a lucrative opportunity to dance at a burlesque club. 

Director's Note

The production of Pictures Only is as professional as it gets. You'll work with well-shot dailies, plenty of coverage, and many scenes to assemble. The challenge will be stitching those scenes together, as they sometimes come one after the other in the same location. Putting together a 20-minute film is hard work. Editors should be willing to put in the time it takes to assemble this film.
