Scramble King
Logline
Emilio Hernandez, a talented and ambitious Brazilian Jiu Jitsu student from small-town Tennessee, works towards his black belt and dreams of becoming a world champion.
Director's Note
SCRAMBLE KING features a three-camera interview set-up, which is great practice for multi-cam editing (and pretty hard to come by). This cinematic short documentary also has tons of slow-motion shots and even some drone footage.
Even though SCRAMBLE KING clocks in at only 3-4 minutes long, the amount of footage (approximately three hours) and the inclusion of complex, stylized shots makes this project best for intermediate editors.
